Gull Cove Alaska 2009

Situated in a peaceful cove off Icy Strait in Southeast Alaska, the lodge at Gull Cove offers the best of Alaska in a superb wilderness setting.

Welcome to Gull Cove Alaska lodge. Southeast Alaska is known for fantastic scenery, abundant wildlife, and great fishing for salmon and halibut. At the lodge and seaside cabins of Gull Cove Alaska, we have all this, and so much more.

    • The personal touch - small groups, typically 4 to 6 people, allow us to tailor your trip to your interests, whether it be salmon and halibut fishing, whale watching, nature photography, hiking, or kayaking.
    • Cozy Alaska wilderness lodge and private seaside cabins with all the amenities including heated floors.
    • Remote location - surrounded by the Tongass Forest with views of the Fairweather Range across Icy Strait.
    • The Yakobi - our 38 foot charter boat that will take you in comfort on our daily fishing and other adventures in this corner of Alaska.
    • Glacier Bay - come tour and explore this stunning landscape with us on board the Yakobi.
These are some of the reasons that most of our guests are repeat visitors and that they spread the word to their friends. Here is what Jim Brady, former Director of the National Park Service, has to say about Gull Cove:
"Gull Cove offers a true, one-of-a kind experience of a lifetime.
As hosts, Paul and Tami, just like their facilities, are simply outstanding.
Their personalized attention to individual needs, desires and opportunities and their indoor-outdoor skills, knowledge of the environment, Alaskan history, culture, flora-fauna-fish, are superbly and memorably integrated into each clients experience.

As my wife Madam Gwen says: The Gull Cove adventure can truly be remembered –'by the moments that take our breath away.' I can’t wait to return…"

Jim Brady
Former Superintendent of Glacier Bay National Park
