The summer weather in southeast Alaska can be extremely variable, but generally daytime temperatures are in the 50’s and 60’s. Bring shorts and T-shirts, though, because temperatures away from the water can be in the 70’s and on rare occasions, in the 80’s. Because of the length of the days (during the longest days, the sun sets about 11 PM and rises about 4 AM), overnight temperatures are not much cooler.
Be prepared to dress in layers, as the wind and temperature can change quickly as we move from one area to the next. Hikes in sheltered areas can be quite warm, while traveling on the Yakobi across Icy Strait or to Glacier Bay can be cool. Rain gear and rubber boots (Ketchikan sneakers) are must. There is a washer and dryer at the lodge, so don’t worry about packing a little on the light side; we can always do a little laundry.
Other than your basic clothing and toiletries, here is a supplies list that could be helpful:

Shorts and swimming suit (for the hot tub or lake)
Tee shirts
Sweat shirt
Sweater or fleece top (Patagonia synchilla or capilene, Polartec, etc)
